Vacation Dog Club, Inc. of Portland would like to invite all dog lovers to our annual all breed conformation shows and obedience and rally trials at Wassamki Springs Campground, 56 Saco St. in Scarborough on May 17th and 18th. This is an outdoor event that provides an excellent opportunity to learn about purebred dogs and ask questions, especially if you are considering adding a dog to your family or if you would just like to learn more about dogs in general. You can gain information on how to find a reputable breeder, see and talk with owners of breeds you may be interested in and learn if those breeds may assimilate well into your lifestyle. If you already have a canine family member, you can learn about classes that will train both you and your dog to participate in fun events that will strengthen the bond between you and your furry friend. There will also be information available on rescue groups if you would prefer to adopt. Vendors of dog items will also be present and food will be available in the campground snack bar. | |
