Jewel
Jewel
Lewiston - One year old Jewel is a very easy girl to understand. She is a loyal companion who doesn't ask for much other than a clean potty and yummy food to indulge in. She takes much enjoyment in making people happy and cozy. She does best with mellow people as she is a very relaxed cat. She came to the shelter as a stray with babies. Her babies have all been adopted and she has grown to appreciate all that she has received since. She wants the warmth of a safe home as opposed to the craziness of the outside world. Please come in and visit me.

Amaya Amaya - Westbrook is a very quiet 1-2 year old Boxer/Lab mix who was found as a stray. She is a cautious girl who doesn’t automatically assume that people are trustworthy. Her new owners will need to respect that she can’t be rushed into new situations. Once she gets her courage up at her own pace, she is an affectionate and polite girl, and the time it takes to earn Amaya’s trust will be time well spent. Amaya arrived with poor skin due to an allergy to flea bites, but with Frontline and soothing oatmeal baths she is looking and feeling much better. She also has been started on treatment for low thyroid levels, and this inexpensive and effective medication will make a big difference to Amaya both emotionally and physically. Amaya’s evaluation found her to be a Meet Your Match® Orange Wallflower. She was quietly polite with her evaluator throughout. Amaya’s best match in a new home will be one that is quiet, with possibly another quiet dog. She would find a home with a constant stream of people in and out and children being typical children to be overwhelming. If you and your home would be a match for this shy girl, come in for an introduction.
