It was the first time I had seen him in nine years. ... I know he has always loved and missed me and prayed that when the time was right I would be in his life again.

The last eleven months have been a dream come true for me. His constant encouragement and praise has filled me with hope and happiness. I can't believe that I am sitting here writing about my father. I am so lucky to have him. I know that he was not around when I was younger, but he was there when I needed him desperately. I always want to thank him, but have a hard time finding the right words to express myself. My dad is more than I had ever dreamed he would be. I am the person I am today because of his love and care.”
