Classic Arts Showcase
Launched in 1994 Classic Arts Showcase is a free cable television program designed to bring the classic arts experience to the largest audience possible by providing video clips of the arts in hopes that we may tempt you, the viewer, to go out and feast from the buffet of arts available in your community. Think of us as "Classic MTV".

State of the State
"State of the State" is a weekly talk show covering Maine issues from budget and fair taxes to health care, Social Security and federal budget impacts on Maine. “State of the State” is hosted by Christopher St.John, executive director of the Maine Center for Economic Policy. His guests include prominent policy makers, researchers, and advocates including Governor John Baldacci, and Congressmen Allen and Michaud. It airs on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. and at 11:30 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Strictly Sports
Call and talk about the Red Sox, Patriots or your favorite team or sport as well as high school sports. Weekly guests also offer various points of interest. Programming on Time Warner Channel 9 is controlled by Leightronix automation pictured here. We use DVCPRO, DV, 3/4, SVHS, and DVD formats for playback. We have an earth sate-lite station, that also provides programming. Jessie Honas is responsible for programming automation on Time Warner Channel 9 as well as programming on the message wheel.

A. Local Origination: Cable access television is a general term covering a number of special services provided by cable television companies to communities in the United States. There are several other names for this, including local origination, community access and PEG access (short for public,
educational, and government access). Cable companies are required to provide these services at a certain level, though the amount of locally-produced programming varies from area to area. Programs produced by or under the auspices of a local cable system, for local audiences.
B. The most well-known cable access (Public, Education, or Government Channel) PEG is a commonly used acronym by the local television industry to describe publicly funded access stations. These may be run by municipalities, school districts, or volunteers.
