On December 19, the 2nd grade children at Lunt School in Falmouth got to experience WinterKids first hand! Some WinterKids staff came to teach the children about the food pyramid, and then it was time to head outside to test what they learned. Everyone got a pair of snowshoes, and had to take cards with different foods on them and had to match them with the right food group. The food groups were represented by different baskets — spread all around the playground of course! The kids all had a blast! They got to try out snowshoes, learned about nutrition, and got some exercise all at the same time! Check out the photo gallery to see them in action!
